In Januari 2026, I was in Vienna during an artist residency, I rekindled to my old love for Lipizzaner horses and booked a guided tour at the Spanish Riding School. In March the same year, I traveled back for a period at the Piber Lipizzaner stud.

My heart warms at the sight of these horses: the velvety-soft muzzle, the proud arch of the neck, and the luminous white coats of the Lipizzaners. What fascinates me just as much is the tradition behind them — the classical training of the Spanish Riding School, where patience, balance, and partnership between rider and horse are central.
